About Immortal Sÿnn

Immortal Sÿnn was formed back in 2004, when main member Tony Z. was still in high school. He was looking for a band, and friend Tom Canino volunteered to become the singer. They soon met Liam Macfarlane, who would be the new bass player. After a few more hours of searching, they found Paul Lehan and Rusty Bower, two guitarists, as originally this was a 3 guitar band.

The writing process began, but Tom soon left as he felt he was not the right fit. Will Heward was brought in on vocals. A few rough tracks were recorded, but not released as the quality was horrible.

The band played one show at Regis Jesuit High School in the Spring of '05. This would be their first and only live show to date. It was decided to bring in a new singer after, and Price Heinz got the gig. A few drummers also came and went during this period, including Nikk Meffley, who had the longest tenure up to that point.

In Spring of '06, a song called "Rock 'n' Roll All Night Long" was released, but again, the quality was bad and it didn't get the best reviews because of this.

Liam, the second longest member next to Tony, had switched from bass to guitar at this point, but soon left the band in summer of '06 after the two had a falling out.

Tony took his music, and played with a few new drummers and singers until Summer of 2007, when the band was put on hiatus in order to concentrate on his new project, Phoenix Rising, which would later be known as Wild Angelz and Devoutcast, respectively.

In the summer of 2011, Alex Giebler auditioned for the singer position in Devoutcast, and got the job. This is where Tony and Alex met. They played together in that band for almost 2 years until they left and officially revived Immortal Sÿnn. Bassist Danny Horrigan was a member shortly before the band was placed on hiatus, and was asked to rejoin upon moving back to Colorado from New York, but had to once again depart due to time issues with his architecture job. Danny and Tony had also had a brief stint in Denver thrash metal band, Nuclear Terror.

At the suggestion of one of Tony's longtime friends, Ben Kroll was brought in to audition on drums and was asked to join the band shortly thereafter. Mario Betancourt of Denver punk band Fastcrash briefly joined the line-up on guitar, before leaving and having guitarist Lance McCutcheon take his place. Lance left soon after joining, but was eventually replaced after a lengthy search by Miguel Ruiz, the current lead guitarist of the band. Soon after, vocalist Chase McClellan was brought on board.
