About Speaking Suns

Speaking Suns is an indie, progressive quintet based in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Formed in 2010 by Jake Diebold, originally under the name Mercury Mouth, they released their first demo in 2011. Known for their distinct three-part harmonies and upbeat, dream pop soundscapes, the band consists of Jake Diebold (lead vocals, guitar), David Byrne (guitar, vocals), Sam Salazar (keyboard, vocals), Dave New (bass), and Steve Yokley (drums).
