The Deep Field Now

The Deep Field Now is a collaboration between Dave Gibbs, Lance Kamphaus, and Shawn Bayne. Originally started as a four piece, the group was focused into a trio in 2009. The subtraction of one member did exactly the opposite of what one would expect. It expanded their sonic palate and their ability to manipulate music using less conventional techniques. In 2014, Jeff Vylonis joined the band to add another layer of beautifully haunting chaos and soundscapes into the mix.
