About Denied (SWE)
DENIED was formed in Upplands Väsby, Stockholm, Sweden in 2004 by guitarist and mainman Andreas Carlsson. Devoted to heavy yet melodic metal, he wanted to expand his vision beyond a simple dream. The band recorded their first demoalbum in 2005, titled "Seven Times Your Sin" which was a local success and brought some airplay and gigs to follow. After two years of recording, the band's second demo album "New Army For The Old Revolution" saw the light of day in late 2008. To celebrate this occasion a releaseparty was held in their hometown Upplands Väsby where they gave 600 frantic fans a performance not soon to be forgotten. The band has earned a reputation as a great live act from their performances in various rock clubs in the area of Stockholm. In 2014 the band released their first official album "Let them burn" which was a huge success worldwide, bringing down great reviews. In December 2017 the single track Beggars and thieves was released via Sliptrick Records. One again, swedish mastermind Fredrik Folkare did the mixing and mastering. Coverart by Alexander Lifbom, New album "Freedom of speech to be released on 13th Feb 2018 via Sliptrick Records. In March 2018 new lineup was presented. On vocals Soren Adamsen, former danish ARTILLERY steped in and also Freddan Thörnblom on bass joined the band.
