About Imperivm (IT)
Imperivm are an Italian power metal band, formed in Varese (Lombardy) in 2010.
The sounds of their songs are inspired by Swedish and German power metal, while the lyrics are related to the history and facts of ancient Rome.
Imperium released three albums: Died Fighting (2013), inspired by iconic figures like Julius Caesar, Cicero, Pompeo Magno; Rome Burns (2017) where are narrated episodes of Roman Republic that go up to the period of Antonio, Cleopatra and Ottaviano. In 2020 the third album Holy War was released, which recounts events ranging from the end of the Republic (First triumvirate), to the Empire (Second triumvirate, Constantine, Christian persecutions, Justinian), and the First crusade.
