PSYCHEWORK, a metal band from Jyväskylä, Finland. Lot of things
has been done behind the curtains so far and now it is time to open
up them a bit and let everyone get a sneak peek of what is going on.
Antony Parviainen:
”Finally, and I mean really finally, we have our line-up ready and songs ready.
It's been a bumpy ride building up Psychework, from the first line of
lyrics until this point. But I've learned a lot on the way. It all
started at the end of 2012 as I was forced to face the dark and
ruthless side of life. When your life is suddenly turned upside down
and the most important thing, your health, is taken away, you begin
to have deep thoughts about life. My future was unclear at that
moment. And I can honestly say that it was my worst nightmare. But
this period in my life gave me a lot as well, because I found the
long lost spark. The spark into writing music. Psychework is a band
but at the same time it's a product of my soul, to which I've shed my
tears and, literally, my blood, too.”
The band has taken its time to write the songs and to search for the musical style that represent perfectly the stories that has been written. This isn't the
easiest road go walk through, but it's been well worth it!
"We have already material for a full length album. Actually more
than that, and even more is on the way!" says J-V Hintikka.
"We can barely keep it in our pants because we want to share our music with all of you. As soon as the plans and schedules are ready, we are more than happy to release some music online!"
First show ever for Psychework will
be at Lutakko, Jyväskylä in January 15th 2016. That will be
something very special!
