About Paraline

Paraline is a project of a Russian multi-instrumentalist musician. who works under the psevodonim Light Andersen, formed in late 2014 in Moscow. The style of sound varies from alternative rock to industrial metal, the songs are only in English.
The first release took place on May 9, 2017 on the main online trading platforms iTunes, Amazon and Google Play, Spotify, as an EP demo consisting of the first five songs from the debut album, under the Swedish service Spinnup (Universal Music Group)
The official composition of the group includes only one musician, working not only on composing music, writing texts, but also on recording, alone.
The name Paraline should be interpreted as "beyond the line" (Greek "πᾰρά” - near, about, by") although the group logo implies a completely different symbolism depicting two parallel lines.

The problematic of the songs is a critical image of modern moral-social principles (Forever Not Someone), an anti-religious direction (After End), and nihilism based on the model of F. Nietzsche. (Deserves to Die).
Musical compositions differ in the overall complexity of the technical construction of instrumentals, consisting of many simple details that form a "large-scale" general picture and attempts to move away from the traditional, linear, composition of the parts' construction of songs inherent in such genres of music, but preserving overall harmony, for "defocusing" consciousness and getting a greater psychological effect when listening.
