Simon and Emil regrouped with Jonte from the ashes of Creedsmen Arise to form Vokonis. The band released their debut album – Olde One Ascending to massive critical acclaim within the Doom/Stoner Metal scene. They take the classic Doom/Stoner Metal sound and add heavy Psychedelic and Progressive moments into their music. Doom/Stoner Metal is in their DNA as these guys are from SWEDEN. Perhaps the best country providing Doom/Stoner Metal Bands over the last 20 years or so. Multiple Appearances on the monthly DOOM CHARTS ensured the community that they are here to stay. While appearing on many best of 2016-lists they went forward to record and release their latest album The Sunken Djinn through American label Ripple Music, As word of the bands signing to Ripple the got into contact with the folks behind The Planet of Doom and proceeded to contribute a track the epic doom film animated by Tim Granda and David Paul Seymour. Now they set their sights forward and on the road, to let everyone know what kind of malicious doom they can deliver to the masses. VOKONIS are on the verge of greatness. Watch them ASCEND!!!
