About Conifer Beard

Conifer Beard is a band formed by three best friends in 2018 in the city of Elabuga (Russia), playing at the intersection of the genres of stoner / desert rock and blues rock.

Nurumov Robert - Drums / Vocals;
Kornilov Artem - Guitar / Vocals;
Kornilov Arsenii - Bass guitar / Vocals.

The history of this trio began in distant 2001 when on a hot summer day Robert met, under strange circumstances, two brothers from a neighboring yard. That is where a strong friendship was struck, which still rushes through the decades.

The guys found strong interest in music in 2008. Since then, they managed to play together in different groups with different people while simultaneously traveling from one musical genre to another. Yet they never truly found peace of mind.

Finally, in 2018 and after many twists and turns, Artyom and Robert created a group called "Godzilla" and under the influence of giants such as Fu Manchu, The Heavy Eyes, Royal Blood, the group began to play new music for themselves.

In August 2019 they released their first album "On the dead roads" and after a while Arseny joined the band. That is where all the puzzles in the picture came together perfectly and the group performed in small clubs, participated in various festivals and worked in parallel on a new release.

At the beginning of 2021, the group, due to external circumstances, was forced to change its name and rebrand. From now on they call themselves "Conifer Beard".

This name pays tribute to their homeland - the city of Elabuga, which is located within coniferous forests, in the sunny and hospitable Republic of Tatarstan.

In February 2021, the team released their second album, Virginal Cuisine along with the first video for their song "Potato Masher".
