About British Lion
British Lion is the side project and solo endeavour of Iron Maiden’s bassist and chief songwriter Steve Harris. Harris had happened been involved with a group called British Lion in the early 90s, and managed, produced, and wrote for them - until the group split. Keeping in touch with some of the members, he continued to write and record with them, building up an album’s worth of material.
The band has released 2 studio albums:
- British Lion (2012)
- The Burning (2020)
