About "Небо Здесь"
Небо Здесь (Nebo Zdeś), "The Sky's Here". Russian independent rock band formed in early 90s under the name "Team Ocean". In late 90s, along with new name, band gained popularity and access to most prestigious concert halls, support of MTV and other music media, subsequently signed a contract with one of the biggest Russian music labels. Along music festivals in Russia, band also toured in places like: Germany, Poland, Estonia, Moldova, and Ukraine. Warmed-up bands like Deftones and P.J. Harvey.
But alas, their success and new role in mainstream sphere began negatively hinder band's activity and further development. Band faced the choice to either continue bringing same quality for sake of popularity, or to continue develop their music for the sacrifice of their popularity. After the evident decision, band continues to evolve and experiment with the new sounds as an independent project, which indicates in their 5 releases.
